Sorry for the wait, but (in Professor Farnsworth's voice) good news everyone! I sold one of the pieces I had queued up for Otakon so I'm working on another to replace it. I don't want to clutter up this site with too many work in progress pictures, so make sure to check out my Facebook page for all of the latest updates. I should be done in a few weeks, the outline's already finished.

Before I got started on that, I did manage to finish one more Mario enemy. Here's the bud of a piranha plant from SMB 3.

I've finished White Mage and Fighter, but I don't have the brown or yellow to make the other three. As soon as I can figure out why KG Chart is messing up colors so badly, I'll figure out the thread for those.

In the meantime I've started on another Mario set. This time it's his enemies, so far I have Bullet Bill and a spiny done.

So I found out that I'm faster at these then I thought. In light if that, I have the complete set of Mario items that I've stitched up. All of the sprites are from Super Mario Bros. 3, the NES version. The sprites are about 2 by 2 inches (5 by 5 cm).

I'm still at work making my next set of sprites so come back next week, and check them out!

I've seen this pattern in different versions all over the place, so I wanted to put my own spin on it. It's a little tongue in cheek, but it fits my sense of humor pretty well!

As an added bonus here's what I made for the Sprite Stitch swap I entered. The person who got it was really happy with it, and that was all I wanted! I used eight different colors in the background to have it blend and I think was really worth the effort.

So the small easy project I started has been a nightmare so far! I've had almost no time to work on it, and I've had to rip out almost all of what I've done. So to make it up, I made a fun Paper Mario pattern. I love the Paper series and the win pose from the original is my favorite Mario pose. Hope you like it!
