No, that's not a new spin-off of Bleach, it's what my week has been. I finished Ichigo this week, so now I have all of my artwork finished for Otakon this year. I also listed him up on Etsy, just in case.

As for the Cheezeburger Network part of this story, I was lucky enough to be featured on one of their sites. I made the front page of Must Have Cute! They featured my Fire Flower Hair Clip, which is good because that's what I'm working on next. I've already started making some small Mario items, and I'll have them for sale in the shop soon.
Because I'm making smaller items for the time being, I hope to have more regular updates. Remember you can always check out my Facebook for the most up to date pictures and project, but I hope to post sets of five every two weeks. See you soon!

I just finished my first post Magfest project and it turned out beautifully!
Also, thanks to the wonderful help I found at my local Micheal's, I now know how to properly frame cross stitch. Not that what I was doing up to this point was bad, but I was just matting them and not putting them into a frame. I think this looks a little cleaner, but some people like mattes and some don't.
So with my new found knowledge, I re-framed my Street Fighter piece as well as my new Ranma piece. I'll be re-framing the Tardis as well as soon as I get a frame for it.
As an added bonus, I'm now on Twitter! My user name is @StitchPlease and my twitter feed will also automatically update when I post something on my Facebook. So if you wanted to peek behind the scenes, here's your chance!

I know I said that I would have the pattern back up within the week, but I lied. I've been so busy trying to finish the Street Fighter pattern that I didn't have much time to mess with it. What I did do is put all of the characters on one pattern and narrowed down the colors. It is a little darker then the original, but I think it will look fine once it's stitched out. As for Street Fighter I have less then a dozen colors left! I'm getting so close to finishing I can't wait!

Just a quick one to finish up my portfolio for Otakon this year. This is the logo for Studio Ghibli. If you think it looks like the same character as last post you'd be right! Totoro is the main logo for the studio. Think of him as the Mickey Mouse of Japan, which is funny because Disney owns the American distributing rights to Ghibli's movies. The cross stitch version turned out better then I expected, compared to the original.

Just finished this and I'm already onto the next! I should be able to get the next one done quickly, and then I can start on some more big ones. I really like how this came out, and I love the look on his face. The character is from My Neighbor Totoro, one of the best animes ever. I got the pattern from a French blog, she also has the Totoro logo and a few Ponyo patterns as well.

Just a couple more, Chi from Chobits and Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I'm down to the last few colors on my Chrono pattern, but I've been dragging my feet on it. Hopefully I'll get it done by the end of the month and be able to start my next project (which is a bit smaller, thank goodness!)

Added a few more patterns. This time it's from Ouran High School Host Club, an anime.  I really love the show and now that it's been released as a complete set on dvd I figured I'd make a pattern of the hosts.

I wanted to try something simple between big projects, so I went with Totoro. I'm not really sure if I like how it came out or not. The reason I did the white floss on black aida is that I just got glow in the dark floss and wanted to try it out. It glows green, but it's a pretty light glow. Maybe after a week or so on the wall, it will be brighter. The next project on the list is a big one, so I'll try to put up some WIP shots in the meantime.

After a week of hard work I'm finished with the cutest project so far! I'm a diehard Clamp fan so when I found a pattern of my favorite character I had to make it. Cardcaptor Sakura is my favorite series of theirs and Clamp patterns are hard to find. The scanner did make it look a little darker then it is, but once I have it framed I'll take a few more pictures. Thanks to the wonderful designs of Anime Stitching (http://animestitching.blogspot.com/) for the pattern.

EDIT: Here's a picture of it framed.
